Detailing the New and Improved LFC Superstore
Having celebrated its launch in August 2017, the new Liverpool FC club shop replaces the old shop which was housed within the stadium itself. The new flagship store is based on the corner of the Main Stand and the Spion Kop. Architects have designed the new structure to appear modern and innovative while taking inspiration from the expanded Main Stand as well as the original and current Kop.
At 19,500 square foot, the store is an incredible four times the size of the old club shop! With an ever-increasing demand, they have made sure to make the shop bigger and better in every way possible so as to accommodate an estimated one million fans each year. There are now 46 till points which is a staggering 130% increase, helping to reduce the checkout time for customers. Get your idol’s name or even your own name printed on your football shirt at one of 20 printing stations.
You can buy just about anything related to the club at this one store including exclusive products only available here. Get yourself kitted out with the latest branded clothing or pick up an accessory such as a football or even a Mighty Red replica. There is a VIP area where you can receive a personal experience when shopping for high-end items like signed frames and jewellery.
The superstore isn’t just a place for browsing the very products but has also been designed to make your visit an experience in itself. For instance, there’s the fan activation space which features a stadium-like seating area comprising of seats from the old Main Stand. The shop is booming on matchdays as thousands of fans from across the globe show their support – there’s even a DJ on-site playing music from multiple decades! On non-matchdays you can grab a few refreshments at the first floor cafe.
